Locklin Tech’s Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning/Refrigeration (HVAC/R) 1 & 2 Program Tour

♪♪♪♪ music playing ♪♪♪♪ The Air-Conditioning, Refrigeration & Heating Technology….or HVAC programs prepare students for employment or advanced training in the HVAC industry. Programs focus on installation, diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems. Curriculum includes designing, testing and repairing HVAC & refrigeration systems. Classroom, shop and lab activities are all an integral part of this program. Students earn the Environmental Protection Agency or EPA certification, North American Technician Excellence or NATE certification, and ICE Certification prior to leaving the program to be eligible for employment in a job requiring work with refrigerants. HVAC mechanics and installers are in demand. Building construction will be a driving force for employment growth as well as the growing number of sophisticated climate-control systems.
