I’ve been running Klein’s 32946S nut setter set in my service bag for eight months now, and these things have earned their spot. The 4-inch length hits that sweet spot-long enough to reach recessed nuts on blower housings and compressor terminals, but short enough that you’re not wobbling all over the place. The magnetic grip is strong enough to hold fasteners without dropping them into condensate pans (we’ve all been there), and the color-coding actually saves time when you’re elbow-deep in a unit. What sold me is how they handle impact driver abuse. I’ve torqued down countless terminal blocks and mounting brackets, and they’re still going strong-no stripped sockets, no shattered tips. These aren’t the cheapest setters out there, but they work when it counts. That’s what matters on service calls.
